Rutherford County Sheriff's Office Seeks Public Input on 1970s Murder "Cold" Case - Victim Identified

WGNS was at the press conference where the RCSO shared photos of the victim who was shot and killed near Percy Priest Lake.

The man was a veteran and served in the U.S. Navy. Due to his date of birth, he likely would have been in WWII.

The victim may have been in town to visit the Veterans Hospital, but it is not known for certain at this time.
