The official Christmas tree for the town of Smyrna goes up on Tuesday. The annual tree lighting will take place at 6pm at the Smyrna Town Center on Sam Ridley Parkway. The Smyrna High Jazz Band will perform and a special visit from the "jolly old elf from up north" will highlight the evening.
