(MURFREESBORO) The Tennessee Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra is preparing for two months of fun. The first round is at 7:00 o'clock this coming Thursday for a concert--"Having The Time of Your Life" at First United Methodist Church, 265 West Thompson Lane. The second event is "The Green Tie Affair and Casino Night". Both are at 7:00PM--one is the day before Valentines and the other is three before St. Patrick's Day.

At 7:00 o'clock this Thursday night (2/13/2020) the Tennessee Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra will feature old and new jazz, that we know and that never goes out of style. "Having The Time of Your Life" is a perfect evening to celebrate great moments and be a part of your Valentine's Day.
WGNS Talk Host Truman Jones will serve as the emcee. For the many newcomers who moved here within the past decade, Truman also served as the sheriff of Rutherford County for more than three-decades.

Green Tie Affair & Casino Night
Get ready to throw off the winter blues and swing into spring with The 2020 Green Tie Affair & Casino Night. This incredible evening of fun, benefiting the Tennessee Philharmonic Orchestra, will held at 7:00 o'clock Saturday night, March 14, 2020, at The View at Fountains, 1500 Medical Center Parkway.
This fabulously fun event will include such games as Blackjack, 3 Card Poker, Roulette, and Texas Hold'em at authentic gaming tables with professional casino dealers. Everyone will receive $1000.00 dollars in play money to enjoy.
The TPO's very own Board of Directors member, Eric "DJ Ego" Farmer, will keep the music flowing and the dance floor swinging throughout the night with songs from the 1970s through the 2000s.
Along with games and dancing, there will be heavy hors d'oeuvres, drinks, a wine pull, silent auction and prizes. In other words, there will be something for everyone!
