Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) will hold a special ceremony honoring former Prisoners of War (POW) and those Missing in Action (MIA) on Friday, September 20 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 2631 Highwood Boulevard, Smyrna, TN 37167.

The theme this year is Never Forgotten: Their Sacrifice, Our Mission, Ever Onward. Several former POW's from World War II and the Vietnam War will attend, and Commissioner Courtney Rogers, Tennessee Department of Veterans Services, will present a proclamation.

The program will include guest speaker Tennessee National Guard Colonel Alfred J "Jason" Fleming. There will also be a special musical selection by Operation Song.
