An aggravated robbery was reported on Friday morning in Murfreesboro at College Grove Apartments on Lascassas Pike. The victim was a delivery driver for Jimmy Johns Sandwhiches. The 24-year old told officers he was robbed after dropping off his delivery at an apartment unit. Evidently he was on his way back to the car when he was approached by a man armed with a handgun.
The report states the culprit told the victim to hand over his money and when the he complied, the robber took off running, fleeing towards Old Lascassas Road. So far, no arrests have been made.
Suspect Description:
6’ tall black male, thin build
Wearing blue beanie with strips of fabric hanging from the top
Blue or a green colored t-shirt, gray sweatpants
Subject had a black handgun
