35-year-old Joshua James Ihm, of 550 Crossway Avenue was charged with setting fire to personal property.
Early Friday morning, the Murfreesboro Fire Department responded to 515 North Walnut Street (Westbrook Towers). Crews discovered heavy smoke and fire in the backseat area of a 2014 Kia sedan. Crews extinguished the fire quickly.
Because of the location of the blaze, the Fire Marshal’s Office was called to investigate. After talking to the owner of the car, Ihm was arrested and booked into Rutherford County Detention Center. Robert Rickman WGNS news.
He is being held on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on April 17.
