A Silver Alert issued for a missing elderly man in Murfreesboro has been canceled after 78 year old Clifton Stewart was located.

Murfreesboro Police sent out the search notification for Stewart on Monday Night, March 19,2018 at 9:30 PM. Authorities issued the "Silver Alert" for the subject due to him being without his medication and having dementia.

On Wednesday morning, Officer Amy Norville told WGNS, Clifton Stewart has returned home and is safe."

Again, the 78 year old man has safely returned home.
