“I appreciate all those who signed my petition to be placed on the ballot May 6th”

Phillips said “I have attended football games and turkey shoots throughout the district, and one thing is clear the citizens of the 8th district want conservative leadership. They want someone who is not afraid to make the tough decisions. They want a leader who will provide conservative fiscal management.”

Business owners, community leaders, and friends, family, and neighbors signed Edward’s petition.

Phillips said “I am humbled and excited by those who sacrificed to make a contribution to my campaign. Making such a contribution speaks to their confidence in not only me but the ideas and principles I have advocated throughout this campaign.”

Edward Phillips is running for eighth district county commissioner. The eighth district includes the communities of Christiana, Crescent, Midland, Rockvale, and the city of Eagleville.

The Republican primary elections will be held May 6, 2014 and the general election will be August 7th.
