Sex Trafficking victim pleads for help in Murfreesboro

Around 8:30 Sunday morning, a woman ran into a gas station on Old Fort Parkway pleading for help. The woman was not wearing any shoes and evidently threw up on the floor. A clerk at the station took the woman into the gas station office to wait for police to arrive.

Murfreesboro Authorities learned from the woman that she was possibly a victim of sex trafficking.

The victim told officers that she was badly beaten by a man who was residing in the Clarion Hotel. The 26-year-old woman told police that the man was "Selling her body."

The police report documented that the female had marks all over her body from the alleged assault.

The woman was taken to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital to be cared for. The case is now under investigation.
