There was another great turnout for the 11th annual Smyrna Rotary Wings of Freedom Fish Fry. Over 15-hundred people showed up and the group raised over 75-thousand dollars. Fish Fry Chairman Mike Waller talks about why he thinks the fish fry is such a success every year...

To date, the fish fry events have raised more than half-a-million dollars. Waller says every penny goes back into the community. This year, during the event, eleven Purple Heart recipients were recognized for thier service to our country. WGNS was again proud to be a sponsor of the event and has been since its inception.
