A LaVergne man charged with the murder of 22-year-old Murad Abulola will be in a Rutherford County Courtroom on December the 6th for what is called a "Discovery Date." Wendill Matthew Ford, 19, is facing a first degree murder charge for allegedly killing Abuloa at his home on Mable Drive this past June.

Abuloa, who was known by his friends as “Rod,” was found by a neighbor in the front yard of his home on June 27th. CPR was performed until paramedics arrived, but it was too late.

Ford will also face charges of tampering with evidence, fabricating evidence and possession of a weapon when he appears before Circuit Court Judge David Bragg.
