Walter Douglas “Doug” Batten, age 81, passed awey on August 22nd.

He is survived by his wife Roberta Hicks Batten; children, Linda Batten Tate, Shelia Batten Foster, and Sherry Batten; As well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, from the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in Hopper Cemetery for Walter Douglas “Doug” Batten.
