(MURFREESBORO)  Murfreesboro Police detectives have recovered the Yorkshire Terrier puppy that was stolen last Friday (12/12/2020) from Petland at 433 N. Thompson Lane. The dog was priced at $5,900. 

Surveillance video photographed the woman with the dog inside the Murfreesboro store. 

Detectives received a tip that the stolen dog may be at a home in Antioch. With assistance from the Metro Nashville Police Department, the Yorkie was recovered Wednesday morning.

The puppy has since been returned to Petland.

Charges against the woman who stole the dog are pending.
