Murfreesboro Police responded to a hit-and-run crash at North Thompson Lane at Medical Center Pkwy around 8:43 Tuesday morning (Feb. 23, 2021).

Shortly after the hit and run, officers found a vehicle close to Bunny Bread on Scott Street that evidently matched the description of the vehicle involved in the hit and run.

After moving closer to the car in question, a possible suspect left the car on foot and took off running across the nearby railroad tracks.  Officers gave chase by foot and arrested the man on the Greenway. 

Once a warrant has been signed, the suspect will be charged with resisting arrest and leaving the scene of an accident.
