The Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association Mr. Baseball Awards were held and MTCS senior pitcher J.D. McCracken was one of the honorees.

The Tennessee signee was the Division II-A winner. He went 9-0 this season with over 100 strikeouts and a point-one-three ERA.
