Thousands of Jobs Available NOW in Rutherford County

The job market is booming right now in Rutherford County. From government jobs to the private sector, there is a long list of places hiring new employees.

One of the many job opportunities is in law enforcement. The Murfreesboro Police Department is hiring 39-new police officers. On top of that, both the VA and MTSU are looking to bring on new officers.

In the business sector, there will be a big hiring event this Saturday (June 19, 2021) at the Saks Fifth Avenue Fullfillment Center from 9am to Noon at 1 Walden Books Drive in LaVergne. There, new employees will be paid between $15 and $18 per hour. The company is looking to fill nearly 100 full-time positions. Those planning on attending the Job Fair this Saturday need to apply online before attending at careersatsaks.com. WGNS was told that the Kona ice truck will be on hand from 11 to 1 to keep job seekers nice and cool while Saks Fifth Ave Associates.

Another hiring event will be held next month that is entitled the Rutherford County Hiring Expo. Rutherford Works, in partnership with the American Job Center, is hosting the county-wide job fair at Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro on July 12, 2021, featuring in-demand jobs.
