Another Shoplifting Case at a Murfreesboro Retailer

WGNS News has yet another shoplifting case to fill listeners in on. This one unfolded at Lowe's on Old fort Parkway in Murfreesboro.

Detectives are attempting to identify and locate the a man who is accused of attempting to steal a shopping cart full of merchandise on July 5th. The unidentified man reportedly loaded the shopping cart with PVC conduit, a knife, rolls of copper wire, and a pack of pencils.

A loss prevention employee saw what was occurring on the Lowe's showroom floor and confronted the man as he allegedly attempted to leave the business with the items. The store employee told police the shoplifter grabbed the pencils and left all the other items behind. The man made it out the exit and fled the store in a silver Chevrolet Malibu with Davidson County tags.
