Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, United Surgical Partners International (USPI) and physician partners are excited to open the newest addition of ambulatory surgery centers – New Salem Surgery Center.

In addition to general surgery, key specialties represented inside the 13,000-square-foot ambulatory surgical treatment center will include urology, ENT, and gastroenterology. The facility will also house an Ascension Medical Group specialty clinic for urogynecology and GI. 

WGNS's Nick Cohn was on site for the ribbon cutting and first public tour of the new building. The new surgery center, located at 2723 New Salem Road, is expecting to start seeing new patients in early September.
