  • 2022's major project: The play "Party of Twelve" by Mary Donnet Johnson will be performed at the Washington Theatre at the Patterson Community Center April 8-10, 2022. The production spotlights many of the "leading ladies" in Rutherford County's history.
  • Fri., April 8, 2022 (5:30-7:00PM) OPENING NIGHT VIP Reception for the play at the downtown home of Andrea and Ed Loughry, 126 S. Maple St. After the reception, you attend the play. 

According to the Rutherford Arts Alliance' website, here is the organization's purpose:

We are an independent, nonprofit advocacy group created to identify, unite and promote arts, culture, and heritage throughout Rutherford County, Tennessee. Founded as a 501(c)(3) in late 2018, our mission is to:

  • Advocate for all aspects of our cultural community
  • Promote Rutherford County as a cultural and heritage community and destination
  • Communicate the social and economic impact of the arts
  • Create opportunities for networking, collaboration, education, and economic success
  • Define current arts gaps and create a united front to address these gaps

As our tagline states, our purpose is “connecting creatives and community.”
