Fire Safety with Murfreesboro Fire-Rescue Chief Mark Foulks. In addition, MFR 37+ year veteran visits the broadcast as the fire department's new Assistant Chief of Operations Mark McCluskey. 

They discvuss: 

  • Keeping bedroom doors closed at night
  • Having an emergency escape plan and a meeting point
  • You should be out of the burning home usually before you call 911 (fires spread dangerously fast now because of the material in cloths, wood particle board and more)
  • Don't smoke when using oxygen tanks and keep them away from heat sources
  • In 10-days it will time to SPRING FORWARD and change to Daylight Savings Time. That's when you need to replace batteries in smoke detectors.
