Middle Tennessee Christian School is pleased to announce the hiring of Greg Eubanks as our next high school boys basketball head coach.

Coach Eubanks comes to MTCS after spending the last three seasons as the boys basketball head coach and athletic director at Harding Academy in Memphis. Eubanks will be making his return to Middle Tennessee where he previously served on the high school boys basketball staff at Ensworth School from 2010-2019. During that time he helped lead the Tigers to four state championship victories. Coach Eubanks also spent one season as an assistant coach for the Faulkner University men’s basketball team.

Coach Eubanks states, “My family and I are honored and excited to be a part of the MTCS community. I am grateful to President Matt Tiller, Dr. Robert Sain and Coach Jason Piercey for this opportunity. I was drawn to MTCS because of the positive upward trajectory and want to join the mission to train young people for lifelong learning and service in God's kingdom through athletics. I look forward to joining MTCS in June to prepare for the upcoming season.”

Eubanks is a graduate of Lipscomb University (‘92) where he played for the Bisons under legendary coach, Don Meyer. He and his wife Amy are the parents of three children and are active members in the church of Christ where Greg has served as a teacher in children’s ministry. In his free time, Eubanks is an avid distance runner and has completed 9 marathons and 20 half marathons.

Athletic Director Jason Piercey states, “I am excited to welcome Coach Eubanks and his family to the MTCS community. The experience Coach Eubanks brings as well as his desire to mold our young men into what God wants them to be, made him an outstanding candidate to lead our basketball program and to be a member of our MTCS faculty.”
