(MURFREESBORO, TENN.) UPDATE: The Murfreesboro Police Department has made progress in a stolen car case. Police say that tips from the community led to two persons of interest being identified.

Econo Lodge is where the theft was reported in mid-October. There, the keys to a 2013 Hyundai Elantra were found on the ground. After the keys were found outside the Thompson Lane hotel in Murfreesboro, police report the car was taken, allegedly by a male and female (seen in the photos released by the MPD above).  Since that time, authorities have identified the subjects and Detective Harris has obtained arrest warrants for the couple.
