(La Vergne, Tenn.) UPDATE – A murder case involving two sisters has been handed down to a Rutherford County Grand Jury. 25-Year-old Kandis Davis is accused of shooting and killing her sister Robin Taylor in LaVergne on October 6, 2022.

LaVergne Police reported that 37-year-old Taylor was unresponsive when they arrived at her home on Almondwood Place. Rutherford County Assistant District Attorney Trevor Lynch describes the circumstances of the case…

Information from the courts on Monday, November 21, 2022, confirms that a hearing has been scheduled for March 1, 2023. Davis is facing a charge of Second-Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm with the Intent to Go Armed. Davis remains in custody at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center in Murfreesboro.
