RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TENN - On today's show, WGNS' Scott Walker was joined by Rutherford Co. School Board Member Clair Maxwell of Zone 5. She talked about rezoning the county school system and more during the first half of the show.

We then headed to The Commissioner Corner with Rutherford Co. Commissioner Craig Harris.

During the third portion of the show, we talked to Christi Welker, a local resident who is planning a June 24th Car and Bike Show, which will be held at the Smyrna Ready Mix Headquarter office, directly off of I-840. The event will raise funds for the Darren Welker Servant Heart Fund that was set-up in Christi Welkers' late husbands memory. Darren Welker was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2020 at the age of 52.

In the last portion of the show, we talked to the City of Murfreesboro about an upcoming career fair that will be held on June 9, 2023. The career fair will be on the Murfreesboro Civic Plaza.
