Working quickly to determine what occurred, dispatchers were able to confirm through a School Resource Officer that the noise heard within the school was the result of students setting off fireworks. The fireworks were evidently set-off inside a bathroom at the school in Lebanon.

Authorities confirm the incident is under investigation at this time. Additionally, the Wilson County Sheriff's Office says they are committed to providing their local schools with a safe environment and foolish behavior will not be tolerated.
