Edward Lee Thompson, Jr., age 75, passed away at his residence August 21, 2023. He was born in Huntsville, AL and a resident of Lincoln County. Lee was a retired farmer and a member of Champ Cumberland Presbyterian church. He was loved and respected by many friends and fellow farmers. 

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lee Thompson, Sr. and Betty Jo Scarbrough Stephens. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jim Trott Thompson; his children, Matt Thompson of Murfreesboro, Mary Lee Thompson of Mulberry, and Hal Tuck of Franklin; sister, Debra Thompson; grandchildren, Trey and Addie Tuck, Reese Thompson, Calib Thompson, Mary Kathryn and Barrett Dorn.
