Multiple Vehicle Break-Ins on Saturday in Murfreesboro

On Saturday, multiple vehicle break-ins occurred at several locations throughout Murfreesboro. Police are still looking into the situation. 

At the Walter Hill Park on Highway 96, someone broke into a man’s’ truck and stole his iPhone and his friends purse that she had left behind. Then, a car parked at the Greenway Trailhead on North Thompson Lane was broken into and a purse, a bra, wallet and makeup were taken.

During a third break-in on Golf Lane in Old Fort Park, witnesses actually saw three men break out the window of a Volvo. The victim in that case was jogging on the trails around Old Fort Park and had a wallet stolen. The witness told police the culprits left the scene in a Chevrolet HHR that was black in color. An HHR is a small SUV (see above picture). A second car was also burglarized in the same parking lot. 

Across town on Indian Park Drive one victim told officers his car was broken into and his iPad stolen.Vehicles were also broken into on Chafin Place, Lebanon Pike and Palmer Drive.
