Murfreesboro, TN - On Tuesday (10/28/2025) a quiet morning took a sudden turn when an SUV crashed into a home on River Rock Blvd., prompting swift response from Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department. The single-vehicle incident left both the car and the residence with moderate damage.

Rutherford County Emergency Medical Services transported one patient to the ER at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

To ensure the safety of the structure, Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department’s specialized Collapse Rescue Technicians were called in. They quickly constructed and installed a structural shore to stabilize the damaged section of the home, preventing further risk to the residents or responders.

Multiple units were dispatched to the scene, including Engine 9, Rescue 1, Collapse Rescue, Safety 1, and Battalion Chief 2. Their coordinated efforts helped secure the area and provide immediate care.

As of now, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
