4th Annual CFRC Rodeo
The rodeo, a significant fundraiser for the Community Foundation, is scheduled for March 6 and 7, 2026, at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum.

Impact: The Community Foundation acts as a "savings account" for the community, vetting and distributing funds to local nonprofits through a discretionary grant process.

Expansion: Founded approximately eight years ago by Steve Flatt, CEO of National HealthCare Corporation (NHC), the foundation has grown to provide about 27.7% of its intake back to the community, exceeding the 5% required for public foundations.

Participation: The festival features 30 breweries from across Tennessee and Georgia, including local favorites like Cedar Glade, Middle Ground, and Common John, as well as newcomers like Smackdab.

Charity: The event benefits Read To Succeed, supporting literacy programs in Rutherford County.
