Murph's Fun was held Saturday morning at the Gateway Island trail. The one-mile run was open to all ages with the entry fee being a donation of school supplies that went to the Murfreesboro City School system.

Murph, a celebrity puppet on the Murfreesboro City Channel 3, was at the race and gave the start command that sent runners and walkers around the lake to a finish line where they all received a finisher metal.
