One of the big issues that the Juvenile Courts in Rutherford County face is treatment for teens addicted to drugs or alcohol. Judge Donna Scott Davenport told WGNS that a parents medical insurance policy doesn't always cover inpatient and outpatient treatment programs or an expensive co-pay is needed to cover rehabilitation services...

Davenport said that children in her courtroom often come from single parent homes where the mother or father is working two jobs to make ends meet.
