Former Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold is back in Middle Tennessee. He was released from what some call Club Fed, a federal prison in Montgomery, Alabama where he spent the last two-years. He will serve the next 6-month at a halfway house in downtown Nashville.

This county's disgraced highest elected law enforcement officer still claims that he is innocent and was a political prisoner. In fact, last year he wrote President Trump asking for pardon. The chief executive did not respond.

While in Music City, Arnold will have to get employment and work full-time while returning to the halfway house during non-working hours. He will have to make enough salary to cover his living expenses.

Arnold confidently noted that he would eventually return to Rutherford County as this is his home and because he has a residence here.

After 6-months in the halfway house, if he does well--Arnold will then be free to find his own place to live. However, he will continue to be under federal supervision.
