Among other subjects tackled at the meeting, additional traffic signalization is soon coming to SR10/US231 (South Church Street) and Joe B. Jackson Parkway/Lynnford Drive, the hotly debated ordinance to amend an area of Indian Hills PUD to be used for a restaurant along S. Church Street at Calumet Trace was passed upon third and final reading, and a public hearing was scheduled for August 21st to consider changing Sign Ordinance amendments for signs on single buildings on single lots with single tenants in PCD, PID, and PUD and within GDO-1, GDO-2, GDO-3, and GDO-4 Overlay Districts.

And just a reminder; council's next meeting will also be preceded by a citizen comment session.  Persons wishing to speak should call the Mayor’s office at 849-2629 or e-mail ktigg@murfreesborotn.gov and give their name and address. Pre-registered speakers will have three (3) minutes to address the Council.  If time allows, others attending the meeting may also speak.
