Laptop computers for everybody…

A man who entered Walmart on Old Fort Parkway tried his best to get away with a total of 10 laptop computers, baby wipes, a pry bar and a water gun. Despite the subject’s attempt, he failed.

Reports indicate the man walked into the store, grabbed a pry bar from the hardware section and then made his way to the electronics. The baby wipes and water gun were evidently gathered somewhere between the hardware and electronics section. Once at the computers, the man used the pry bar to force open the laptop case where the computers were held secure. The man then started filling up his buggy with the laptops that totaled $7,443.

When the man tried to push the buggy out of the store, he was met with a brigade of Walmart employees. The workers grabbed the cart and the culprit lost his grip. During the struggle, the man actually lost his left shoe. Leaving the cart behind, he ran to his truck with only one shoe on. Police then swooped in, but it was after he fled the scene in a white Ford F-150 with a temp tag. Officers were able to scoop up the "left" Nike Air Jordan shoe that came off his foot. The shoe is now at the police station and the computers are back in the custody of Walmart.

So far, no arrests have been made.
