MTSU's rebranded "New to Blue" orientation helps new and transfer students get ready for college life, including campus tours, course registration, and meeting advisors. The orientation includes a required pre-orientation module and academic advising. It’s tailored to different student groups and must be completed before registering for classes. Orientation dates and info are available online.

New to Blue Orientation is designed a little differently for each type of new student. Orientation will give students vital information about the University and the many resources that they will use as a student. This orientation is required to be completed before you can be advised and register for your courses.

The registration ended this past week on May 23 for the 16th annual Alumni Summer College, happening June 25–27. The event offers MTSU alumni a chance to return to campus for creative classes and hands-on experiences based on the theme “Masterpiece in the Making.” Topics include acting, storytelling, sculpture, and more. Spots are limited, and cancellations are refundable until May 30.
