Two missing persons in Murfreesboro

The Murfreesboro Police Department continues to investigate two open missing person cases, both are being looked into by the "Violent Crimes Unit."

38 Year old Kenneth Lance Johnson, Jr. was last seen on October 6, 2017 at the Super 8 Motel. Police say he has a history of substance abuse and mental illness. However, he has not been taking his prescribed medication, according to a missing person report.

The report suggest that he may be violent if taking illicit drugs.

The white male stands at five foot nine inches tall and has black hair with brown eyes. He also has "Father" tattoed to the front of his neck and the words "LOVE" and "HATE" on his knuckles.

Johnson was driving a white 1987 Chevy pickup truck when he went missing. If you know of his whereabouts, phone the MPD at 615-893-1311.

Unrelated Missing Person Case Below:

The Murfreesboro Police Violent Crimes Unit has told WGNS about a missing female by the name of Teresa Leigh Rowland. The 50 year old woman walked away from her home on October 5, 2017.

Police say she has no prior drug or alcohol issues and does not have any known mental illnesses. However, she does have a prior history of "disappearing" for long periods of time.
