The preliminary investigation shows the driver of the Versa was on S. Church attempting to make a left turn into the Wendy’s parking lot. Two lanes of traffic stopped to let the driver through. The driver of the Jeep Compass was in the third lane of traffic and didn’t see the driver turning, which was when the two vehicles collided.  Police report the driver of the Nissan Versa was cited for failure to yield, and the driver of the Jeep Compass was cited for not wearing a seatbelt.
