Rutherford County has approved their 2022-2023 budget, without impacting taxpayers… That was County Mayor Bill Ketron, who also noted the budget includes a historic pay raise for Rutherford County Sheriff’s Deputies and other county employees…

In property taxes, residents won’t be paying more this year, but the effects of the recent re-appraisals will be felt in 2023… Ketron reminded residents that there is a senior tax-freeze for residents 65-and older. The tax freeze is based on those with qualifying incomes. To learn more about a property tax-freeze, contact the Rutherford County Trustee’s office at 615-893-5210.
